Dr. Knight had a 20-year career as a retail entrepreneur before returning to academia to earn a PhD in Retail Merchandising from Texas Woman’s University in 2001. She is a social scientist focusing on evolving consumer behavior within the new retail ecosystem.  Dr. Knight’s research has attracted funding of more than $205,000 including grants from Saks, Incorporated and the U.S. Department of Education in the area of retailing (e.g., consumer experiences, social commerce, digital retailing, and service quality). Her consumer research includes studies in India, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Taiwan, and the United States.</main-content></item>
