Dr. Iva Jestratijevic (Assistant Professor in the Department of Merchandising and Digital Retailing) holds Ph.D. degrees in Fashion and Retail from The Ohio State University and in the Theory of Art and Media from the University of Arts, Serbia. Her research focuses on sustainability and transformative behaviors in the fashion industry, with an emphasis on improving the lifecycle of apparel and textiles. Her interdisciplinary work integrates social psychology and cultural anthropology, particularly in the areas of body, identity, and culture. In 2024, UNT Press published her book The Business of Sustainability in Fashion, which addresses the challenges of corporate and consumer sustainability.
Dr. Jihye Min (Associate Professor in the College of Merchandising, Hospitality, and Tourism Management) earned her Ph.D. in Hospitality Administration from Texas Tech University. Her research centers on marketing, financial and revenue management, social impact analysis, and consumer behavior in the hospitality and tourism industries. Dr. Min’s extensive industry experience in hospitality financial management informs her research, providing insights into profitability drivers and business optimization. She has published extensively in top-tier journals and actively collaborates on research projects both within and outside of UNT.
